One of the last posts from the Golden Gate. You can see a picture here of Bob, his wife Tashima and their baby. That was born just 2 days after the birth of the kid. Tashima gave birth at home. Detroid kid.
Most of the images were made from inside the monorail train that goes around downtown Detroit. It’s called ”the people mover”. I had one image earlier with a iPad add in the back. You can see on one of the images the new “ipod mini” poster is half ready.

Youmacon is a “nerd” convention Where people dressed as their favorite anime character or game character come to socialize, play computer games and party. I went to the first day of the convention when it was open for public. Most people were standing in an endless line in anticipation to get their badge.
Dumpster diving is one of the ways to get free food. Supermarkets in the USA throw away a lot of products. Sometimes they are not even over the date. As soon as they get a new shipment of products the old one goes into the dumpster. “We eat like kings here in Detroit” to quote…
