Detroit, first impression

When I first came downtown it was the day when Detroit’s team – tigers was playing. So there was quite a few people on the streets. Upon other visits streets seemed to be deserted or occupied by junkies and homeless people. Overall you get an uneasy feeling walking the streets especially after dark.

Obama

After a lot of delays related to car renting I’m finally on the road in the USA again. I came just in time for the election campaign craze. I visited 2 events, one in Dayton, Ohio and one in Cleveland. In Cleveland I spent 4,5 half hours standing, to take a couple of pictures of Obama….

San Francisco

2,5 month, 9500 miles, and 400$ in parking violations later I have finished my first journey across the USA. It was an intense experience. Thanks to everyone that helped me along the way, friends, friends of friends, accidental acquaintances and couchsurfing community – YOU ALL ROCK!!!! Hopefully I will find the funds to return for the elections.
